Every year, photographers from all over the world take part in the 365 photo challenge, and many of them swear that it transformed their photography skills dramatically. So, let's dive into what makes this challenge so exciting!

The concept is simple: at the start of a new year, participants commit to capturing a picture every day for 365 days in a row, and call it the 365 photo challenge. That's it! The rest is up to you! There is no jury, if you cheat that's on you.

Some photographers like to post the picture of the day on social media using #takeaphoto365, some like to share it in their local photo community and ask for feedback, and others print it out and hang it on a dedicated wall. The world is your oyster – you can capture your daily photo analog or digital, with a smartphone or maybe with a Polaroid camera.

It could be a daily self-portrait, an ordinary moment, a specific technique like black and white, macro, or documenting a place you've never been before. Some photographers capture textures or choose one colour, while others explore how to capture a theme like "Freedom", "Love" or "Time" in images.

Taking one picture every day for a year might sound overwhelming, but it's so much fun and has amazing benefits.

We all know that practice makes perfect, and we're right on board with that! The best photos are the ones that come from your imagination and your skill to transform the scene into a stunning image.

Mastering composition, light and camera settings is the key to collecting not just "lucky shots", but creating truly outstanding images. 365 days is the perfect time to discover and learn how to control the final result you've always dreamed of.

Committing to this challenge is also a fantastic way to explore your style and develop your photography signature. As you dive in, you'll start to notice patterns and themes emerging, and before you know it, you'll be creating images that truly reflect your unique perspective and make you stand out as an artist.

Last but not least, committing to a year of photography is an amazing way to get into the habit of taking photos every day! After just 90 days, you'll have found a routine that works for you, and you'll be amazed at how easily you'll continue your practice maybe even well beyond the 365 days.

Our final tip to setting yourself up for success is to keep your main rules simple so you can make it more challenging when you feel like it but don't fall off track on a bad day and for those that are just not into new years resolutions you can start this challenge any other day of the year.

Enjoy the challenge and the best of luck!
