Take a Photo Walk is a community-led startup founded in Barcelona in 2024, built around the idea of exploring cities through photography and human connection. We host guided photo walks that bring people together to observe, create, and share perspectives while discovering urban spaces.
What began as a local initiative has grown into a global community, with photo walks now taking place in Madrid, Paris, London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Luxembourg, Edinburgh, Shanghai, Tokyo, Bogotá and more. Across every city, we focus on creativity, learning, and connection—welcoming photographers of all levels to slow down, look closer, and experience the city differently.

The co-founders Charlotte and Leonardo started Take a Photo Walk after realising that exploring places through the lens of a local makes all the difference when it comes to the quality of our travel experiences. At the same time this could be the key to tackling over-tourism worldwide.
