Sagrada Familia - A Masterpiece in progress

The construction of the world-famous Sagrada Familia Basilica in Barcelona, Spain started way back in 1882! It's hard to believe that so much time has passed since then. The world has changed a lot since then.

When the construction began, the area was just an open field, far away from the city centre. But the city grew and evolved over time, and today we can find the basilica right in the heart of the Mediterranean metropolis!

Many photographers who visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site on one of our Photo Walks say that the nets and tower cranes ruin the pictures. But here's the thing: if no photographers had ever documented how this beautiful architectural masterpiece looked when it was just in the bare bones, we would not see the progress and evolution that happened ever since.

We are so appreciative of all the photographers who spent their money, time and energy on documenting their time with all the imperfections. It's so special to be able to travel in time and see how the world has changed.

Photography can be a way to express ourselves or to document our journey as humans.
